Producer Prices fall in November

PPI falls 0.2%.

The seasonally-adjusted Producer Price Index for final demand fell 0.2% in November, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today.  This followed an increase of 0.2% in October.

Analysts had expected a 0.1% decrease.

In the 12 months through November, producer prices increased 1.4%.

Producer prices excluding volatile food and energy costs were unchanged, and have increased 1.5% in the 12 months through November.
